The levels of pointlessness are unbelievable. But there was one bright spot in the whole thing... the one set of exit polls I've seen suggest that there was almost no Democratic crossover -- the so-called mischief vote -- into the Republican primary. Things can get ugly enough without that.

Though there were TWO answering machine messages at home this afternoon from Senator Joe Lieberman asking us to vote for McCain in the Republican primary. (grin)
