I found about this award last year -- and wasn't quite eligible. (grin) Then John Scalzi mentioned it (http://whatever.scalzi.com/2009/03/20/) this year and I say, okay, my turn!

And yes, they don't have to recognize anyone but the winner of the grant, so it's nice. Plus, I'll be back...
