(1) For years I heard that Harvard used this method for determining who got in, after dealing with the legacies and children of VIPs.

(2) At the WOTF workshop, K.D. Wentworth and Tim Powers used this method to determine which of the twelve 24-hour short stories we wrote would be copied and critted by all.
