Emmy's Opening Number

Missed Most Of The Emmy's Last Night

We had company and later on, PBS had the first new Series 3 Inspector Lewis. I did see a little, and JImmy Fallon as host was doing things with guitar songs in the audience -- amusing. Anyways I missed the opening number until I read the article in today's Grand Rapids Press daily email briefing and they had the following YouTube link:

Cast from Glee, Tina Fey, Betty White, Tim Gunn from Project Runway, Hurley from Lost, etc. And the best part was the tribute to The Boss. Actually pretty funny -- I love musical parodies.

Enjoy.

I was busy watching "Phil Plait’s Bad Universe." I thought it was darn good for a general public science show.

I don't watch award shows. They bore me, and I watch very few of the nominees.

Ok, so I have no idea who the front guy is, other than he does a fine Springsteen (and I'm a demanding fan from before Born To Run). I'm not going to let my kids watch that, but boy, was that hot!

And Tim Gunn! ROFLSCOMM!

Jimmy Fallon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Fallon) does the late night talk show on NBC after The Tonight Show. He once was on Saturday Night Live.

Suicide machines!

Oh, and Tim Gunn "dressing" Fallon as the Boss was priceless.

Our newspaper TV guide is bad at indicating new shows -- missed the ol' Bad Astronomer.
