On the weather last night, they showed a county-by-county map of fall color progress. Some of the northern reaches are either peak or past peak. We still have a lot of green amongst the colors.

Good strong reds and oranges this year. I seem to recall too much yellow last year, but they've forecasting a good color season for a few weeks now.
