TV Commercials - Ur Not Doing It Rite

Huh?

Twice now on ESPN, I've seen commercials for Capitol One which had the music and sound effects track, but not the human audio tracks. WTF? First one was the 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea giant squid, the second was Armadillo Man.

One sounds like a mistake. Two seems like a problem.

Doesn't anyone check these things anymore?

I'm sure it was a multiple tracks/channels type issue.

And I'm equally sure it's not going that smoothly. ;) But I'll be picking up a converter box for my bunny ears soon, so I'll see how the over-the-air stuff is going.

There is, of course, some debate as to whether or not regular bunny ears will work. (grin)

I have a digital tv & traditional bunny ears, no cable or dish. I can tell a difference, however slight, between having the ears on and oriented as opposed to not using the ears. However, as I live in the flight path of a small airport, the ears are not strong enough to filter out aircraft or other large vehicle interference and I get quite a lot of blockage from time to time.

Yes, but are they aftermarket bunny ears or are they the ones attached to your digital-ready TV?

Well, I picked up one of the converters. And it works with my bunny ears. Mostly. :)

How many channels are you getting? Do you get a "full house" of the so-called broadcast networks? (grin)
