It's been an off day, for sure. But we don't have to worry about the little guy any more, either, which in its own sad way is a relief.

It's the bargain we make when we bring them into our lives.

We'll wait awhile before we get a new trio of kittens, but we'll be in our mid-seventies if that next crop makes it into their nineteens. (grin)
