Someone Or Something Had To Record This

It was just a matter of time before some security camera or something was revealed to have shot the remarkable landing of US Airways flight 1549, much like security footage came out showing the collapse of I-35 in Minneapolis the other year.

Date: Saturday, 17 January 2009 23:07 (UTC)I think what gets me is how small the plane looks, bobbing in the Hudson afterwards, as the wings quickly fill with the passengers. But between the ferry's approach from the south and the current taking it south, you can sense the grandeur and power of the river.
This HAS to be a New York story. I was driving across the Grand River and thought about a similar incident here and I realized that there'd be no ferries, no boats, no traffic copters to rapidly render aid.
Anyways, it's amazing.
