It's The Sad But Obvious Conclusion

The light flakeages we've had today actually totaled up to about 3" of new very white snow. Walking down the driveway to get the mail late this afternoon, I was struck by how hard it was to see the driveway -- everything was all soft white and indefinite in shape. Nothing for the eye to focus on. At least not until coming across the snowmobile tracks running across our property a goodly distance from the so-called right-of-way by the road. If we had gone ahead and planted new trees to replace those cut down the other year, they would've been destroyed.
An Intruding Bit Of Color...
... poked out of the snow. Turned out to be an empty Bud Light aluminum can, right next to the snowmobile tracks and far from the road. Since I don't drink and Mrs. Dr. Phil doesn't drink any sort of watery light beerish swill, it didn't come from us. The most likely culprit was the snowmobiler.
Not sure which is worse: the cavalier disregard for driving across private property, drinking while driving or littering on said private property.
(sigh)
