Always Behind The Curve

Live Journal is having a sale on Permanent Accounts. The last time I knew they had a Permanent Account sale was just after I started on LJ -- and hadn't settled on doing this blogging this longterm, let alone even getting a Paid Account. Last year I upgraded to a Paid Account and figured that when the next Permanent sale came, I might bite.

No doubt this means that LJ will go out of business in three months, since I know how to pick 'em.

Going whole hog and getting a Permanent Account may not be your cup of tea. But if it is, you only have a few days to do it. Just sayin'.

As Long As You're Spending Money

The December 2008 issue of Locus magazine says that ad revenues are down. They'd really like you to subscribe. If you are a SF/F/H writer or are thinking of becoming a SF/F/H writer or if you are just a fan of SF/F/H books & movies & stuff, you should check out Locus.

Now That You're Broke

Check out IROSF -- The Internet Review of Science Fiction. They've just picked up some staff from the closing of Æon Speculative Fiction. Plus fellow WOTF-XXIV'er [livejournal.com profile] snickelish Sarah Edwards is doing some copy editing for them. December 2008 issue is brand new.

Okay, enough for now.
