A Month of Celebrations
Thursday, 1 August 2013 12:47August 1st. Swiss independence day.
I am always amused by the month from 7/1 to 8/1, where we have a series of national holidays that I know of:
July 1 - Canada Day
July 4 - U.S. Independence Day
July 14 - Bastille Day (France)
August 1 - Swiss Independence Day
So have some fine chocolate, or a fine watch, or some cheese with holes.

And by the way, how the hell did it get to be August already? Almost the start of my fourth month of hospital "incarceration".
