Be glad you just had threats of weather. We had WEATHER here Thursday night. Total of 12 tornados ranging in strength from F0 to a certified F-4 (top wind speed upwards of 220mph). Mostly west and south of Atlanta, but in the metro area. Very early in the season for this sort of shananagans, the state's insurance commisioner is concerned already.

After last year's downtown tornado, when I saw wall clouds approaching from the west just before 5:30PM, I checked the radar and told Beth I was heading home between thunderstorms. There are some advantages to working in a very tall building.

Made it home just before the next round hit my neighborhood, and had a rushed dinner of eggs and toast by flickering lights just before the power went out for about an hour.

And today it is crystal clear, blue sky, sunny, little cool for us @ 50F. Everything is starting to look springy, buds on trees, some early cherry trees are sneaking blooms out and I spotted some daffodils in the neighborhood yesterday. Next round of rain and coolness comes tonight, snow in the mountians.
