...and they possibly tried to cram in too many story lines that end up just sort of resolving themselves with a "And then it was all fixed" moment that doesn't quite satisfy--but it still manages to be a lot of fun and a solid summer movie and solid sequel. The great cast is a big part of that. I liked it.

And I also noticed the cargo plane scene was cut. DVD bonus feature, anyone?

I can't help suspecting the biggest reason for the basement particle accelerator, though, was the Captain America sight gag. Which was cute and actually kind of worked. (Not sure if the post-credits scene quite worked, but they're setting up the Avengers movie and trying to get all the pieces in place to stitch together. We'll see how that works out.)
