I watched from start to finish and I just have to say that I was very impressed and am very proud of our community. I can guarantee you that each and every community member is very proud of our school system. I mean the entire South-Western MI school system! I am so very proud of Kalamazoo Central! I could care less what any wacko might have to say about those videos. I chalk those types of comments up to nothing more than jealousy. It is mean spirited and if that is how people are going to treat a class of Graduating Students, I guess I can understand why some areas have such problems with getting kids to complete even High school - let alone go on to college!
I guess those posters with the bad comments do not know that every graduate of a Kalamazoo High School is guaranteed paid Tuition in any Michigan Trade School, College or University! How is that for incentive for these kids to do well in High School and Graduate!
If any of you (Students, Teachers, Staff, Family of Kalamazoo Central HS) are reading this, I am very proud of you all! You did very well! There is always going to be someone who wants to cut people down because of those they dislike. Just remember what President Obama said - "Take responsibility for your actions, Don't point fingers!" That is the best advice anyone could give. I just wish more Americans would adhere to that advice and do it themselves.
