I'm thinking that you can still take Howard to Stadium, and either go north on Drake to catch the highway entrance from West Main, or... turn left on Stadium from Howard and go through town, catching Bus-131 from either Douglas or Westnedge.
You have my sympathy for that commute. I'm sure it's a real pain, especially in the hot season and the snow season.
