Warily Looking Around To See If The Buzzards Are Circling Yet
Dreamwidth is bringing new servers online.
To handle the load of setting up new accounts.
And it pisses me off that LiveJournal doesn't seem to understand the damage they've done.
The thing about blogs, communities and social media is that they become personal. It's how we access friends. News. Business.

PS- Dreamwidth has been letting users know about progress and delays with traffic and importing LJ sites. Typical comment: "You're awesome, DW staff! ".
Now go to LJ's latest news and look at those comments.
Do the night.

Date: Saturday, 24 December 2011 13:55 (UTC)I just hope the plugin that posts here from my WordPress blog continues to work. I don't blog very much these days, but I did switch to posting on WP with an auto-feed to LJ a while back. With all the upheavals over the years, LJ is probably still used mainly because they entrenched people early and we're afraid to lose our connection to those people.
I should switch my autopost from LJ to Facebeek to a WordPress plugin as well.
Keep us updated here on the DW account.
