dr_phil_physicsDanry Vasquez had a game winning home run for the West Michigan Whitecaps on Sunday, despite the fact that he'd been traded to another team a month and a half ago.
Seems the Whitecaps played a double-header on Sunday -- Let's Play Two! -- but the first game was a continuation of a game called for rain in the first inning with the Caps leading 1-0 by virtue of Danry's home run. So now the home run counts and is part of Danry's official Whitecaps stats, Even though some of the players weren't even on the team to see the huge shot to center field and Danry wasn't there to see the win.
I love baseball. And I love the quirky things like this that happen.
