Actually, I really appreciate it if you comment on the post itself, because then it becomes part of the blog record. Facebook posts and comments are forever, in the sense that mountains of ore to mine are forever, but they are ephemeral because once they scroll of the screen -- sometimes when you are reading them Damn You Facebook! -- they are hard to get back to.
