Tis The Sunday Before Thanksgiving...

Saw the first ads on TV for Peter Jackson's King Kong. First of all, it looks very stylish and should be very good.

But...

I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't poop on Peter Jackson's parade, especially as I am hoping to enjoy this movie once it opens here in West Michigan. But there's no scaling here -- he moves too fast. An elephant cannot jump and run like a gazelle. A giant gorilla cannot move faster than a real regular-sized gorilla.

I Promise... I Promise...

I will engage in a willing suspension of disbelief...

Did I mention here that we always spend Thanksgiving Day at the movies? And this year we're going off to see Harry Potter 4 at our very own local IMAX theatre? Yee-ha!
