dr_phil_physics... And I Was Going To Take A Picture!
When I hopped in the 1985 S-10 "winter" Blazer this afternoon to drive up to the engineering campus, the odometer read 00008.9 which translates to 300,008.9 miles. Woo-hoo! I haven't put all those miles on the Blazer -- I think we bought it used in 1995 for $4000 and it already had 129,000 miles on it. As it was, the little coin tray in the center console was filled with cold water from the rain/melting snow leaking in through the bad windshield seal. (grin)
In "celebration", we had freezing rain and snow on the drive home. 4WD the whole way. What a trooper.
