dr_phil_physicsHuh. When you are stuck in a hospital, you are aware of time if you're not on pain killers, but it also slips away from you.
So, as separate categories, I am cognizant that it is the year 2013 -- early on they ask you about this a lot to determine if you're with it. It is Friday -- which affects TV schedules and the menu. It is September -- which means I've been waylaid for over four months. It is the thirteenth -- which is harder to keep track of as the "5th Floor Activity Calendar" on the bathroom door has lettering too small to read from across the room.
But it just now flashed in my mind that it's Friday the 13th.
Huh.
Who knew? Who cares?
I dunno, but I am amused at how normal outside world things are so insulated from in here. (grin)
