At around 4pm EDT in Kalamazoo it was 51°F, according to Weather Underground. That was the good news. But I knew what was coming -- it was supposed to come today, but it's delayed and tracking more south so Allendale and Grand Rapids won't get much. But Kalamazoo?
Tuesday Night
Cloudy with rain and snow showers this evening, becoming all snow overnight. Low 28F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph. 3 to 5 inches of snow expected.

Wednesday
Snow during the morning will become lighter during the afternoon. High 28F. Winds N at 20 to 30 mph. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.

Wednesday Night
Clear to partly cloudy. Low -1F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph.
The Big Melt + Rain and then a coating of 3-8" of snow? Winds? Then a subzero hard freeze? What could possibly go wrong?

And I have a cold.

I'll stay at home and phone in the lecture.
