meritahut's wonderful comic art style and her Roman Mt. Vesuvius magnus opus "SPQR Blues". Well, meritahut, aka klio, has posted the First Chapter and the currently running Second Chapter of "SPQR Blues" on this ComicGenesis website, where you can catch up with the story and enjoy her wonderful drawings and subtle humor from the start. She's also set up a Dramatis Personae and Plot Summary for those who need a scoresheet.
Latin isn't really required to keep up.
