I Won -- Chocolate!
Monday, 25 September 2006 14:30Despite some distress on my part noted in an earlier entry about the move of Clarion to San Diego, I remain a huge supporter of the Clarion workshop. To that end I should point out that the Clarion Foundation is running an eBay-powered fundraising auction -- and I just won a 2-year subscription to Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet.
Sure, I paid more than the going rate for the subscription, but to tell the truth, I don't mind. Isn't the point of a charity auction to see what kind of idiot buys a gift for more than its worth? (grin) And I was going to go for the Chocolate Level subscription anyway, because it was time I renewed anyway2.

See this link for a list of all the auction items.
